The Chamber’s culture is both performance and people oriented. Our culture begins with the people we hire. The achievement of our mission depends on our people – living the values of leadership, service and teamwork, striving to learn and delivering results for our members, customers and community.
The Chamber's talented, professional staff of 75 people works with thousands of engaged member companies, volunteers and partners in an effort to create and sustain a dynamic Cincinnati USA, a region of 15 counties located in three states. The Chamber's member businesses and organizations represent approximately 350,000 employees throughout southwestern Ohio, northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana. Due to the Chamber’s catalyst role in our region, our staff is exposed and connected to the business community like no other. As a Chamber employee you will have the opportunity to interact with business leaders from across our region as well as national figures.
While expanding knowledge is certainly important to our business, it is also key to your individual career path. Here at the Chamber, we strongly encourage our staff to continue their own professional training and education. We work hard to find numerous educational opportunities both internally and externally to help our employees continue to learn and grow professionally.
We love to give back to the place we call home. Members of our Community Involvement Committee have organized volunteer opportunties for Chamber employees to participate in numerous charity walks, volunteer at the Free Store Food Bank, adopt in-need families during the holidays, collect school supplies for Crayons to Computers, participated in clothing drives for Dress for Success, and contribute to United Way and Fine Arts Fund annual campaigns to just name a few. These and other community opportunites help us to continue to connect with the community we live in and love.
83,000 people head to downtown Cincinnati for work every day and enjoy a unique sense of community that only exists downtown. The wide array of restaurants, shops, personal services, businesses, and cultural attractions all located within walking distance provide downtown employees easy access and a broad appeal that simply can’t be replicated outside of downtown’s fast-paced urban setting.
The Chamber is committed to a culture of true diversity, enabling and encouraging all members of a diverse work force to contribute their full potential toward Chamber goals. This commitment ensures an inclusive workforce and a culture where each person is treated with respect and dignity – providing a role model of best practices for our community and for organizations across the nation.
