Often overlooked, is Cincinnati USA's impressive collection of arts and cultural offerings. If your favorite pastime involves immersing yourself in priceless works of art or experiencing another time or place, one of the region's many museums and galleries can take you there.  

The Cincinnati Art Museum - Located in scenic Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum features an unparalleled art collection of more than 60,000 works spanning 6,000 years. The museum is open six days a week.  General admission is free (some special exhibition fees may apply).

Contemporary Arts Center - For more than 65 years, the CAC has been a forum for progressive art and ideas serving the city of Cincinnati and the region. The CAC is a non-collecting institution that focuses on new developments in painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, performance art and new media.

Taft Museum of Art - The Taft Museum of Art is known as one of the finest small art museums in America. A National Historic Landmark built in about 1820, the Taft is home to an extensive art collection that includes European and American master paintings; Chinese porcelains; and European decorative arts.

Cincinnati Museum Center - Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal is home to the Cincinnati History Museum, Duke Energy Children's Museum, the Museum of Natural History & Science, the Robert D. Lindner Family OMNIMAX® Theater and the Cincinnati Historical Society Library. It is a nationally recognized educational and research resource and one of the top cultural attractions in the Midwest. Originally built in 1933 as the Union Terminal train station, the building is a National Historic Landmark and was renovated and reopened as Cincinnati Museum Center in 1990.

National Underground Railroad Freedom Center - Situated on the banks of the Ohio River, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center celebrates the legacy of courage and multicultural cooperation embodied in the story of the Underground Railroad. The Freedom Center offers interactive permanent and changing exhibits, special programs, and a strong speaker series in an effort to educate the public and visitors about the historic and the continuing struggle for freedom in the U.S. and around the world.
