Cincinnati USA is a sports town.  Baseball, football, hockey, soccer, tennis, volleyball, car racing, horse racing.  The list of professional sports offerings could go on and on.  The region also boasts three D-1 collegiate athletic programs in the University of Cincinnati, Xavier University and Miami University.  In Cincinnati USA, even high school sports programs experience fanatic followings with heated rivalries. 

Below is just a sampling of what Cincinnati USA has to offer in the way of sports entertainment.

Cincinnati Bengals - Established in 1967 by the legendary Hall of Famer, Paul Brown, the Bengals represent Cincinnati in the National Football League's AFC North Division. 

Cincinnati Reds - The Cincinnati Reds became the first professional baseball team in the country when it was established in 1869.  After nearly 140 years, Reds continue to excite loyal fans in Cincinnati at the Great American Ball Park. 

Cincinnati Cyclones - The Cincinnati Cyclones are a professional hockey team in the ECHL.  An affiliate of the NHL's Nashville Predators and Montreal Canadians, the Cyclones make U.S. Bank Arena their home ice.

Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon - In 1998, the Flying Pig Marathon made a mark as being the third-largest, first-time marathon in the country. Today, the marathon has expanded to an entire weekend of events drawing more than 15,000 registrations from all 50 states and numerous countries throughout the world.

Kentucky Speedway - The area's premier motorsports facility, opened in 2000, Kentucky Speedway has hosted races in ARCA, USAC, Busch and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series.

Western & Southern Financial Group Master & Women's Open - One of only 13 "major" events in men's professional tennis and the only Women's Tennis Association Tour event in the Midwest, the W&SFG Open takes place each summer at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, OH.  

AVP Crocs Tour Cincinnati Open - Professional beach volleyball in Ohio?  It's true.  Each summer as part of the AVP's Nissan Series, the Lindner Family Tennis Center is transformed into a beach volleyball court that attracts some of the most famous Olympic and professional, men's and women's, volleyball players.

Cincinnati Kings - The Cincinnati Kings are a professional soccer team in the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League.

River Downs - For more than 75 years, River Downs has been providing live and simulcast Thoroughbred horse racing on the banks of the Ohio River. 

Turfway Park - Located in Florence, KY, Turfway offers live Thoroughbred racing during the fall, winter, and early spring. You'll see the best racing in the Tri-State at Turfway, including the $500,000 Lane's End Stakes and the Kentucky Cup Day of Champions.
