Showcases the rich German heritage of Southwestern Ohio, as well as tasty samples of German-style food, music and beer. The Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati tradition began in 1976 as a block party near historic Fountain Square, and since its huble beginnings, the event has grown to be recognized as the nation's largest Oktoberfest celebration, second in the world only to the original Oktoberfest in Munich Germany.
