What is it?
Member Marketplace is an online service that allows members to sell products and services to - and request products and services from - 5,000 fellow Chamber members and their 350,000+ employees, 200K of whom visit cincinnatichamber.com every year, for free! Members can also advertise their products and services directly to business decision-makers via Member Marketplace easily and affordably.

Is it hard to sign up?
Not at all - Member Marketplace offers a 2-step process to a whole new avenue for sales! The first step is a 30-second sign up that requests name, email, and password - and you can use your pre-existing Chamber password, or create a new one.

The second step asks 7 questions to members to create administrator status that allows them to post and request products and services.

Is it safe?
Absolutely! Member Marketplace's splash page resides at cincinnatichamber.com, and it's a seamless redirect to the Member Marketplace portal. All information is collected in a secure, https: setting.

How is this different from Groupon or Deal Chicken?
Same e-commerce premise - only better, in that your product or service is being viewed by decision-makers and their employees. Plus, you're enjoying browsing among local offerings of fellow Chamber members, and we all share a common mission to keep Cincinnati USA economically strong and vibrant. Additionally, members keep all of the proceeds from their offers; the Chamber does not receive any revenue from the offers. Members can post as many offers as they'd like, and also control their financial liability by limiting the number of customers who can take advantage of any given offer.

Will Member2Member discounts go away?
Member Marketplace will replace the current Member2Member discounts, and companies who have discounts there will be invited to post!

How do I set up an account?
It's easy - simply go to cincinnatichamber.com! The Member Marketplace information and link can be accessed from the homepage. You can browse offers, or complete the two-step process that will allow you to shop and post.

Is it hard to post a product or service?
Not at all! Member Marketplace offers templates and step-by-step guides during the process. You can determine the offer, set the price, and agree or decline offers. Plus, you can share your offer on both Member Marketplace and through your company's own social media channels.

What if someone who isn't authorized tries to post a product?
Member Marketplace has built-in controls to protect companies against unauthorized postings. Companies establish an administrator who can post offers and requests for service. If a non-authorized person attempts to post, he or she will receive an on-screen message indicating that administrator status is necessary to proceed. They will then be directed to call the Chamber for further help and instructions if needed.
