
Member Marketplace is a web-based service included with your Chamber membership where your company can offer products and services, save money, and promote your business.

Highlights
- Member Marketplace isn’t a “deal of the day” program—you can post as many offers as you want at any time
- Save substantially on products and services you need to run your business.
- Offers can be viewed and reserved by the entire community but only members can sell on Member Marketplace.
- Share company news and learn about other local businesses.
- There’s no online purchasing and no minimum inventory required.
- Each time you offer a deal or use a deal, you’ll earn points in a monthly competition.
Request Anything
Don’t see what you like in the member posted offers? Anyone can request anything from members and the system will connect you with the member businesses that can fill your request.
- Log in or create an account on Member Marketplace.
- Hover over the “Buy” tab and select “Request Something”
- Follow the simple on-screen instructions and click “Submit Request”
- You’ll be notified via email by local and trusted member buinesses that are ready to meet your needs.
Promote Your Business
- From your DashBoard, click on the “Marketplace Activity” tab.
- Click on the box that says “Write status update or advertise your offer” and enter your businesses status update.
- What you write is up to you! This is a great place to announce grand openings, advertise your new offers, share news about your company, post links to press releases, or announce new staff members.
- Click “Share” and your update will be posted.
- Examples of good status updates:
- Added a new offer: $50 for Initial Patient Visit
- We’ll be at the 2013 Business Expo! Come see us!
- Welcome to our newest documentation specialist, John Smith!
- Follow this link to read our latest press release! www.yourwebsite.com
- We’re hiring a marketing specialist. Visit our website to learn more.
Logging In for the First Time
- Click on the bar at the top of this page.
- Click “Register.”
- Follow the instructions to register as a member or non-member.
- You will receive an email after you register prompting you to complete the registration process.
- Please note: only administrators may post offers and status updates. If you’re not sure who the administrator for your company is, contact members@cincinnatichamber.com at the chamber.
For Administrators Only
- Creating an Offer
- Hover over “Sell” in the main toolbar, and choose “Sell Something.”
- Select the appropriate category for your offer from the 12 that are presented
- Choose from one of the offer templates and customize it t o your liking or select “”Start From Scratch” and build your own.
- Enter a short description of what you are selling
- Fill in the amount that the customer will pay for your offer, as well as the retail value. Please note: all deals must have a monetary value.
- Select how many people can take this offer from the drop down list. This feature allows you to offer a deeper discount but to fewer customers if you wish.
- Select the Option that sounds best from the three that are presented.
- Fill in the how to redeem, and fine print sections, and then click “Preview & Continue.” You can go back and edit the offer at any point. Once you are satisfied, click “Submit.”
Winning Rewards
- Anyone can participate: The Rewards Program is a monthly points race for member businesses that have earned the most points by posting and redeeming offers. All that is required for your business to earn points is that you participate by using the system.
- Earn points: Almost everything you do on Member Marketplace earns you points. For example you can continue to earn points by redeeming offers (10 points) or honoring offers (5 points). You also earn points when posting your first offer (10 points) and updating your status (5 points).
- Compete and win: The leaderboard on the right side of the Rewards page keeps track of the community standings for the given month. Your points are always displayed at the top of the page so you can always see how many you have earned for the month. Additionally, you will receive an update email in the middle of the month with the current standing, along with the top three businesses on the leaderboard.
- Points refresh each month.
