Member drives community change
In 2011, Michael Kroeger, President and Kelly Dolan, CEO, launched their IT management consulting company, Ingage Partners with a desire to be a force of positive change, both in business and in their community.
A certified B Corporation, Ingage blends business with social responsibility by giving away 25% of annual profits to nonprofit groups. Certified B Corps meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corp certification is, to sustainable business, what LEED certification is to green building or Fair Trade certification is to coffee.
Ingage consultants use paid time off to service the community and the company matches a portion of personal employee contributions to charities.
In 2012, Ingage grew by 60% with revenues of $1.6 million and anticipates more than 50% growth in revenue and staffing in 2013. The company budgets $1,500 each for employee training. An Ohio program also will provide $18,000 for training.
The company is also certified by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). This certification gives Ingage the ability to compete for real-time business opportunities provided by WBENC Corporate Members and government agencies.
The company offers project management, business and systems analysis, application development and change management services. Clients include hospitals, health care payer organizations, and technology and retail firms. Dolan, CEO, says, "We set out to do things differently in also helping the community with the services that we offer."
Ingage Partners LLC was recently recognized as Emerging Business of the Year at the 2013 Small Business Excellence Awards by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.
