Member institutionalizes community involvement
Giving back to the community is so important to the leadership at Axiom Consulting that the 48-person company made it part of their global purpose statement: "We delight our customers by creating innovative and exciting product developments, which will help our customers succeed in their marketplace. In turn, our customers will reward us with their trust, faith and continued business thereby helping Axiom grow, touch and improve the lives of communities where we live and work."
Axiom Consulting, recently named a finalist in the Chamber's Blue Ash Business Awards corporate community service category, considers itself an "innovation" company that manages the product and package development lifecycle.
"We are a product and package engineering services company that helps our customers get to the marketplace better, faster and at a greater value," said North American President, Bob Tate.
Axiom Consulting began in 2001 in India and opened a customer facing organization in Blue Ash in December 2009. With offices in Brussels, Singapore, Blue Ash, and India and most recently a partnership in Latin America, Axiom offers global solutions to global clients.
Operation Give Back, a Blue Ash nonprofit providing a positive environment and create motivating programs to inspire children to reach their full potential, is just one of the many community initiatives supported by Axiom employees. Axiom's support of Operation Give Back ranges from assisting with funding for grant writing, mentoring and serving meals to students.
Nearly 90 percent of Axiom employees volunteer with Operati on Give Back or other community groups, including Relay For Life and Matthew 25 Ministries.
"We promote community involvement from the top down," said Tate. "Our values and our purpose are discussed in new employee on- boarding, and our leadership team works to ensure that community involvement is included as part of all staff events."
Blue Ash Business Award Winners were announced at a March 21 luncheon featuring keynote speaker Dr. Yousuf Ahmad, Division Senior Vice President and Chief Network Transformation Officer at Mercy Health.
