Bold Fusion is the largest annual convergence of young professionals in Cincinnati USA where young, creative minds come together for provocative discussion, learning and a common purpose: to connect with one another and learn how to advance their career, their company and our community.

The 2016 half-day event will feature keynote and trenspotter Chitra Anand, former Microsoft exec and Intrapreneurship expert. Chitra is leading the forefront on this new concept. ‘Intrapreneurs’ are the people within an organization who possess an entrepreneurial spirit, driving innovation, creative thinking, and new ideas.
In addition to Chitra, attendees will hear from others in the Cincinnati region who embody this thinking:
> Tony Blankemeyer, Startup Liason & Data Commercialization Lead, 84.51˚
Tony drives business growth and acceleration by building strategic connections between people, companies and ideas. Blankemeyer leverages his diverse experience across high growth technology companies and agencies to lead these efforts. Blankemeyer cultivates customer strategy and activation through data partnership and commercialization. As Startup Liaison for 84.51°’s Startups in Residence program, Tony infuses innovation through education, building community, and strategic investments.
> Valerie Jacobs, Chief Insight & Innovation Officer, LPK
Part fashion designer, part trend forecaster and part disruptor, Valerie works with an intuition and quick wit that senses and articulates change in consumer behaviors, values, lifestyles and attitudes. Driving a constant state of evolution within LPK and the design industry, Valerie founded LPK’s Trends practice, providing clients a deeper consumer understanding and establishing a clear point of difference for LPK. She also started LPK’s Innovation Lab, an internal research and development practice dedicated to uncovering and building out innovative new offerings for clients.
> James Marable, Manager, Recruitment Brand Management, Macy’s
James entered the world of digital marketing fresh out of college before going on to open the Original Thought Required boutique in 2010. James joined Macy’s as a social media strategist in 2013 with the Talent Acquisition group, evolving his responsibilities into an enterprise-wide employment-branding role. James is also a current board member of the Over-the Rhine Chamber of Commerce and co-founder of the Cincinnati Young Black Professionals organization. Originally hailing from Dayton, James is an alumnus of the University of Cincinnati.
> Ross Meyer, VP, Community Impact, United Way of Greater Cincinnati
Ross is Vice President of Community Impact for United Way of Greater Cincinnati, where he oversees community impact funding and strategies. He previously served as Executive Director of Partners for a Competitive Workforce – a nationally-recognized partnership working to help people develop skills for in-demand jobs. A graduate of Leadership Cincinnati Class 37 and C-Change Class 5, he holds a master’s degree from New York University where he was a Catherine B. Reynolds Fellow in Social Entrepreneurship, and a bachelor’s degree from Miami University where he was a Harry S. Truman Scholar. A native Cincinnatian, he lives in Hyde Park with his wife, Emilie, and their three sons.
And the dynamic husband & wife duo of Kyla Woods, Traffic Reporter & News Anchor at WLWT Channel 5, and Allen Woods, Chief Vision Caster & Creative Director for MORTAR, will serve as emcees.
