Taking Cincinnati USA’s business agenda to Columbus
On March 28th, the Chamber will lead a delegation of Cincinnati USA’s business leaders to Columbus to advocate on behalf of the region at the 2012 Columbus Drive-In. The Drive-In will give Chamber members an opportunity to interact with State of Ohio officials and make sure the voice of Cincinnati USA is being heard in Columbus. The business group will meet with top-level advisors in Governor Kasich’s Administration, including the Governor himself, as well as Speaker Batchelder, and Mark Kvamme of JobsOhio. The group also plans to meet with Assistant Policy Director Rich Frederick, Workforce Development, and Director Greg Moody, Office of Health Transformation.
In these meetings, the Chamber will present its 2012 Policy Agenda, a comprehensive report representing the highest priorities of the Cincinnati region’s business community. Issue topics include: business development, taxes, transportation and infrastructure, healthcare, labor and employment, energy and environment, workforce development and education.
