Technology: the spark that drives nonprofit innovation
The nonprofit sector is often portrayed as slow to change and behind the times. The truth is, nonprofits are at the forefront of some of the most exciting innovations in how technology is used to effect change. The Chamber invites you to save the date for Securing the Future, an annual conference dedicated to building the strategic and resource development skills of the leaders and staff of Cincinnati USA nonprofits. The conference draws an audience of 300-400 nonprofit executives, fundraisers, board members, and funders. Securing the Future began as a project of Leadership Cincinnati Class 24 in 2001 and since then the program has been presented each year, making it one of the longest surviving Leadership Cincinnati class projects.
The 2013 Securing the Future conference will focus on how advancing technology affects nonprofits, and how your organization can take advantage of it. The event will feature keynote speakers Randal Moss, Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager at ACCO Brands and author of The Future of Nonprofits: Innovate and Thrive in the Digital Age, and Amy Sample Ward, Membership Director of the Nonprofit Technology Network. They will discuss leveraging social technologies for social change, capitalizing on entrepreneurial employees, and taking advantage of future trends.
Network with fellow nonprofit professionals, learn how to tap into technology, and take your organization to the next level at the 2013 Securing the Future conference.
