Miami University Mini-MBA begins Jan. 25
The Miami Mini-MBA Program can be the difference maker you need. It provides you the business essentials to take your career to the next level. By attending one night a week for 14 weeks you can build your business knowledge and skill set so that you can understand the next financial review, engage with the marketing and sales planning process, provide a new level of leadership or deliver innovation in a whole new way.
Beyond the educational benefits of the program, you will have the opportunity to network with 25 classmates representing a wide variety of industry and company backgrounds. Not only that, you will also earn four Continuing Education Credits, and if you chose to pursue a Miami MBA degree at future date, 100% of the cost of the Mini MBA will be credited towards your MBA tuition.
- Class meets 14 consecutive Monday nights from 6-9:30 p.m. starting January 25.
- All classes will be held downtown in the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber offices at 3 East Fourth Street.
- The program cost is $3,000, which includes all course materials and a light meal prior to each class.
- The faculty are a blend of Miami MBA faculty and experienced business professionals.
PROGRAM COURSE CONTENT
The Mini MBA courses will be taught with practical application in mind....allowing you to use your new learning the next day at work. The course delivery will be a combination of lecture, case discussion and application exercises. The final class will be a case competition among the student teams.
WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM THE MINI-MBA PROGRAM?
Anyone who needs a solid business skills foundation to make them more successful. We are a nation of “specialists.” While that has its benefits, most working people, whether they are medical, legal or technical specialists, entrepreneurs, or tradespeople, will interact with business professionals on a daily basis. Being able to “speak their language,” and successfully grow their organization, or move up within the ranks of their field, requires an understanding of key concepts, skills and terminology used in business.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?
The program starts on Monday, January 25 and runs for 14 weeks, ending on Monday, April 25.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The program cost, including all course materials and light dinner/refreshments every session, is $3,000. If a student decides to continue their education and enrolls in the Miami MBA program within 5 years of completing the mini-MBA, 100% of their mini-MBA investment will be applied to the cost of their MBA tuition!

Prior to the first day of the program.
WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE CLASSES HELD?
Classes meet 6-9:30 p.m. Monday evenings at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, 3 East Fourth Street, downtown Cincinnati.
DO I NEED AN UNDER GRADUATE DEGREE OR WORK EXPERIENCE TO APPLY?
The Mini MBA Program is open to any working professional regardless of previous education. Prior work experience will provide context and allow for a deeper learning experience but is not required.
