The 2013 Small Business Excellence Awards are now accepting applications for the awards that will be given at the May 16 luncheon event. This year features new and improved categories to better salute your small business for its successes.

Small businesses have been doing heavy lifting both in our region and throughout the nation during the recent economic difficulties. During the last two decades, small and new businesses have created two out of every three new jobs in the United States, and currently small businesses employ 60 million Americans - about half the jobs in the country. 85% of Chamber member companies have fewer than 50 employees, and are achieving major advancements and successes at a faster pace than the rest of the nation.

To honor their accomplishments and recognize the best of the best, we encourage you to nominate a company - including your own - for the 2013 Small Business Excellence Awards.
