CFC connects with Chamber
Nationally recognized industrial training company – and newest Chamber member – CFC Industrial Training works with firms across the world, training employees in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical and multi-craft from basics to certification.
A leader in providing up-to-date technical training, consulting and field services, CFC offers unique solutions to any industry that uses fluid power. CFC owner Robert Sheaf offers, “Our consulting and training classes are conducted by recognized, certified experts, all of whom have practical experience in the latest industrial technology. We joined the Chamber to help connect members with our hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and automation training.”
In 2013, CFC launched the Interactive Technical Manual, an intuitive, machine-specific tool that enlivens system schematics, manuals, videos, component photos, safety bulletins, troubleshooting material and more. Sheaf states, “The ITM helps companies bring their documentation to life by improving technical knowledge, increasing maintenance efficiency and reducing equipment downtime. And, our Learning Management Software gives companies the flexibility to allow their employees to complete courses and certification at their own pace.”
CFC has a proven track record working with companies of all sizes, from Fortune® 500 to small and mid-size firms to develop and deliver quality industrial training programs. Manufacturers, distributors and academic institutions recognize their level of expertise and commitment to quality and have used our firm to supplement and/or manage their entire training programs.
Originally named Certified Fluid Consultants (CFC), CFC was founded in Cincinnati in 1990. Since then, CFC has experienced national and international growth in both training and consulting. In late 1999, CFC Industrial Training acquired Solar Comp, a computer training and consulting firm founded in 1994. This enabled CFC to branch out into the Learning Management arena, offering a blend of multiple training mediums.
CFC offers training courses at both their Fairfield campus and at clients’ operations. For a complete list of courses, visit www.cfcindustrialtraining.com, or contact Mindy Timmer at 513.874.3225.
