Is your health plan ACA compliant?
The Affordable Care Act is alive and well. Would your company still be alive and well after a Department of Labor (DOL) audit on your health plan?
Join the Chamber and CAI Insurance Agency as we share with you what steps your business needs to take to make sure your Health Plan is compliant. Find out how to protect your company as well as how HIPPA, cyber security and data protection are involved in this process.
All health plans, fully insured or self-funded, are governed by the Employer Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and are subject to compliance audits by the DOL. As a provider of health care, employers need to understand their responsibilities to their employees. Due to the overwhelming amount of data requested in the event of an audit, your business must maintain all your compliance requirements on a consistent basis. If compliance requirements are not in order, significant fines and penalties could cripple your company’s financial well being.
