C-Change Class 7 develops children’s story book about Cincinnati

C-ChangeA sub-group of the members of the Chamber's HYPE C-Change Class 7 are working on the Cincinnati Storyteller's Project and are developing a children's book, CINCINNATI: Our City, Our Story, to evoke civic pride and family activity in our amazing city. Inspired by the Story Project. This children's story book will help to share Cincinnati's story to families within our region, regardless of socio-economic status.

The Cincinnati Storyteller's Project held an area wide contest to collect illustrations from local youth, which will be used to illustrate the book.  Local author, Louise Borden, donated her talents to write the text and local artists, Loren Long, Will Hillenbrand, and C.F. Payne, all donated their talents to collaborate on cover artwork! Blue manatee press has graciously donated its services to publish the book. The Cincinnati Storyteller's Project are currently fundraising to raise the funds needed to print and distribute the book.

Through partners, Every Child Succeeds (ECS), Cincinnati Public Library, and the STRIVE partnership, books will be donated within the Greater Cincinnati community. Additionally, the proceeds from all books sold at local bookstores will be donated back to ECS.
