Member differentiates itself through partnership approach

Schiller, BobIt's been more than 20 years since CPAs David Cassady and Bob Schiller decided to shrug off the restraints of big/international accounting firm life and strike out on their own. Their client and employee base has multiplied in those two decades, but their business model hasn't changed.

According to Partner/Owner David Cassady, there are many accounting and advisory firms that provide accounting services and advice. So what makes his firm, which was recently named a finalist in the Chamber's Blue Ash Business Awards (1-50 employees category), unique?

"The distinction is our approach to partnering with each and every client - digging in, getting to know the business, the industry, and most importantly, the people," said Cassady. "Our clients tell us this sets us apart from other firms. We're proactive. We're involved."

In addition to providing tax and accounting services, Cassady Schiller offers financial services, business valuations, merger and acquisition, due diligence, personnel recruiting, family business planning and management consulting. The six-partner firm services all levels of privately held businesses, from local one-person operations to multi-million dollar companies with offices throughout North America.

In addition to top-notch client service, the firm also strives to be a "quality corporate citizen."

"Cassady Schiller is involved with a large variety of national and local charities, youth groups, schools, and church organizations. We believe it is essential in our society for companies and individuals to 'give back' to their communities and to help others," said Cassady. "We commit substantial time, effort, expertise and energies as officers, board members, or committee members to national charitable organizations such as the Cincinnati Chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, March of Dimes, United Cerebral Palsy, The United Way, American Cancer Society, Center for Family Solutions and others."

Blue Ash Business Award Winners were announced at a March 21 luncheon featuring keynote speaker Dr. Yousuf Ahmad, Division Senior Vice President and Chief Network Transformation Officer at Mercy Health.
