Meet the new Leadership Cincinnati class

The Chamber is pleased to announce the roster of Class 37 of the Leadership Cincinnati program.

Leadership Cincinnati, sponsored by First Financial Bank, is the foremost leadership development program in our region, will provide the 56 Class 37 participants the knowledge, skills and confidence to assume greater responsibility for leading the Cincinnati region into the future.

Class members are chosen from a cross section of the community and represent the region's top levels of leadership. They represent large corporations, mid-sized companies, non-profits, governments, and also include entrepreneurs.

The ten-month program, starting in September, stimulates concern for the quality of life in the region using Agenda 360 and Vision 2015 as a guide.  Projects initiated by previous Leadership Cincinnati classes include the Preschool Promise, the Charitable Pharmacy now operated by St. Vincent de Paul and Power Packs operated by the Freestore Foodbank.

Hurley, Dan"Leadership Cincinnati challenges every participant to expand beyond their traditional limits," said Dan Hurley, the director of Leadership Cincinnati. "That comes from opportunities to interact with the region's established business and government leaders in "Leadership Conversations," but also from numerous immersion experiences.  Last year that included a walking tour of Over-the-Rhine with a bicycle cop, sharing a meal with homeless people at the City Gospel Mission, and exploring the proposed Lick Run sewer project with an MSD engineer. Most importantly, because the makeup of the class is so diverse, just getting to know your classmates is an education," he added.
