Partnership events feature international business
If you need further proof that we're part of a global economy, look no further than the Chamber's Cincinnati USA Partnership. The Partnership has a series of events in the coming days that will feature an international business theme.
First, a focus on foreign direct investment and exports in the Cincinnati region will be the focus of summit tomorrow on Xavier's campus. A panel of experts and speakers will address growing local jobs in a global economy. Keynote speaker for the event will be Aaron Brickman, Acting Executive Director of the US Department of Commerce's SelectUSA program. "This forum will be a one-of-a-kind opportunity, particularly for economic development professionals in Cincinnati, to learn and engage with some of the world's most impressive experts in this arena," said Denyse Ferguson, Senior Vice President, Cincinnati USA Partnership.
On Friday, the Partnership will join the Greater Cincinnati Chinese Chamber of Commerce to present The China Briefing: The Impact of the China Financial Market and RMB Trend on the Global Economy. The event is being held at the Horseshoe Casino and is especially timely with a recent change in leadership in China.
Next week, Partnership Vice President of Economic Development Trevor Hamilton will travel to both France and Germany to sell businesses there on our region. The trip follows other stops Hamilton has had this year representing the Partnership including Germany and India.
