Big Pig Gig returns for World Choir Games

    Big Pig Gig 2012

In honor of the World Choir Games, HYPE's C-Change Class 6 and ArtWorks are giving new life to the Big Pig Gig, launching "The Big Pig Gig: Do-Re-Wee." Sponsors, artists and schools produced the pigs for display.

The Chamber and HYPE sponsored one of 50 pigs: "Suspension Pig: Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber & HYPE - Bridging Generations." The design, by artist Kate Demske of Solid Ground Studio, was chosen by the Chamber and HYPE, its young professional initiative, to celebrate all generations and recognize the multi-state collaboration of this great region. Look for this design, at 150 East Freedom Way area, and all the pigs on display outside each of the World Choir Games venues this summer.

C-ChangeC-Change is a year-long leadership development program targeted to the region's emerging leaders. Its curriculum offers both professional development and community engagement that provides opportunities needed to advance both professionally and personally.

C-Change will kick off a new class in January 2013, which runs for a full year. All inclusive tuition for meals, snacks, supplies, curriculum and an overnight retreat is $2,700 ($40 application fee).

Applications will be available July 16, with a submission deadline of Sept. 21. For additional information, visit or contact Julie Bernzott, HYPE Program Manager, at 513.579.3113 or
