Partnership makes an appearance at SXSW
The Cincinnati USA Partnership sent Tammy Riddle, development director for information technology, to this year's South by Southwest Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas.
Riddle focused her attention on digital trends and interactive marketing at the conference, which took place March 7-11. The five-day South by Southwest Interactive Festival included presentations in technology, networking events, a trade show and a lineup of special programs showcasing new digital works, video games and innovative ideas from the international tech community.
"By attending this year's festival, we looked to stay on the cutting-edge of all the digital and interactive marketing trends that are essential to supporting our BrandHub and tech companies in the region. In particular, we focused on sessions that profiled the latest innovations in analytics that could support our economic development efforts," Riddle said in a recent news release. "The Partnership's goal was to elevate Cincinnati as the top choice for businesses that want to expand or set up shop in the Midwest. We wanted to use this trip to propel Cincinnati to the national stage as a leader in tech and branding, while also scouting new opportunities to grow the region's economy and its companies."
Riddle also contributed blog posts from the conference, reporting on the innovations, how Cincinnati can benefit from the issues discussed at the conference and how the region is represented at the conference.
