Don’t let stress bring your company down
The nature of work is changing at whirlwind speed. Perhaps now more than ever before, job stress poses a threat to the health of workers and, in turn, to the health of organizations. The American Institute of Stress estimates that stress in the workplace costs U.S. corporations over $300 billion annually. In addition, employers may be held liable if they do not offer programs designed to reduce stress in the workplace.
Join Dr. Robin Arthur, Chief of Psychology at Lindner Center of HOPE for an interactive discussion exploring stress, its management and its effects on work, family and personal success. Participants will learn:
- What high performing employees and executives do to address work demands and the stress it causes
- How to recognize when stress is affecting your employees and learn ways to effectively keep your business healthy
- What you can do to reduce work stress and prevent it from affecting your home and personal life
This event is set for Friday, April 13, 8:30-10 a.m., at the Lindner Center of Hope in Mason. Cost is $35 for members and $40 for non-members.
