Securing the Future is an annual conference dedicated to building the strategic and resource development skills of the staff of Greater Cincinnati nonprofits. The program typically draws an audience of 200-300 nonprofit executives, fundraisers, board members, and funders. Securing the Future started as a project of Leadership CincinnatiClass XXIV (2001). Since then, the program has continued every year as a volunteer-led effort, making it one of the longest surviving Leadership Cincinnati class projects.

SecuringFuture75x90.gifParticipants hear from prominent national and local speakers, and books or other materials authored by the speakers are often included. Registration fees are kept as low as possible, and vary depending on the cost of the speakers brought in each year. The content is always oriented to the current needs and concerns of those charged with overseeing nonprofit organizations. Securing the Future typically earns high marks from attendees.
