IT and management consulting service firm Ingage Partners was recently named to B Corp’s 2014 “Best for World” list! B-Corps are certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Today, there are more than 950 Certified B Corps in 32 countries and 60 industries working together toward one unifying goal: to redefine success in business. B Corps are to “sustainable” what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is to milk.
Ingage Partners, a 2013 Small Business Excellence Award winner, is led by President & Co-Founders, Kelly Dolan and Michael Kroeger. Dolan, a member of the Chamber’s Small Business Advisory Board, offers, “We’re thrilled by the news! While other sustainable businesses post, on average, scores in the 70s on the ‘Best for the World’, Ingage scored 136 – a good indication that we’re doing more than just making a profit.”
She continues, “B Corps are better companies – better for workers, better for communities and better for the environment. They meet what Inc. Magazine calls ‘the highest standard in socially responsible business’ and together, we’re leading a global movement to redefine success in business so that, one day, all companies compete to be not just the best in the world, but also best for the world.”
Ingage works with firms to help them navigate business and technology changes. They provide project management, business and systems analysis, application development and organizational change management at competitive rates, collaborate with partners to win business, provide purposeful careers for their consultants and positively impact their charitable partners. Their mission is to be a force of positive change - both in their business relationships and in their community.
Co-Founder Michael Kroeger comments, “We became a B Corp because it provides us with an opportunity to learn from other like-minded businesses, while making a public statement that our do-good mission is at our core. It builds momentum and holds us accountable for honoring our values and mission as a company.
