New Chamber member Chocolate Pizza Company open in Jungle Jim’s Eastgate
Chamber chocolate lovers, rejoice! Gold member Chocolate Pizza Company opened its first Cincinnati location inside Jungle Jim's Eastgate store on March 1.
The 25-year-old Chocolate Pizza Company is based in Marcellus, New York, and includes four stores in three states and more than 700 wholesale accounts nationwide. The company gets its name from its signature product, Chocolate Pizza. Made from premium chocolate blended with homemade English toffee and poured into round shapes, Chocolate Pizza is topped with nuts or candies and a white chocolate drizzle and served in a pizza box.
Owner Ryan Novak chose Cincinnati because of family roots, as well as the opportunity to launch the Ohio location inside Jungle Jim's.
"I have family roots in Ohio. My grandparents and dad were born here, and my dad graduated from Miami University," said Novak. "In building a national brand, Ohio was an ideal place for Chocolate Pizza Company to expand which made the invitation from Jungle Jim's Market an easy one to accept."
Even though its doors have only been open a short while, Novak says the business is already benefitting from its Chamber membership.
"The Chamber genuinely wants us to succeed," said Novak. "The organization offers a number of tools for new businesses, and as we begin our adventure in Cincinnati, we are certainly taking advantage of the Chamber's resources and support."
