Drive-in links members to governor, lawmakers
Ohio Governor John Kasich spoke to Chamber members for about 30 minutes during the Chamber's annual Columbus Drive-In event.
More than 60 Chamber members joined our Government Affairs team, Ohio Governor John Kasich, and state lawmakers last Wednesday for the annual Drive-In event in Columbus. Hot topics included tax reform and The Brent Spence Bridge.

Highlights of the Columbus trip included substantive meetings with Ohio Governor John Kasich as well as with William Batchelder, Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Senate President Keith Faber. These meetings allowed trip participants to hear firsthand about the policy and legislative priorities drawing top focus in Columbus right now. Just as important, the Columbus trip provided a valuable opportunity for Chamber members to interact and engage with leadership during extensive Q&A and discussion sessions; an opportunity to advise statewide leadership about the issues and concerns and successes in Greater Cincinnati.
The trip generated significant media coverage for both the Chamber and just two of the key issues (tax reform and Brent Spence) we are involved in. Here's a closer look from the pages of the Cincinnati Enquirer and from the WLWT TV screen.
