Primary Election results - voters authorize state capital improvement program

Primary Elections GraphicBoth Chamber-supported ballot issues, State Issue 1 and Hamilton County Issue 3,  were approved by voters in Ohio's primary election on May 6. State Issue 1 renews Ohio's State Capital Improvements Program and authorizes $1.875 billion for local governments to use towards critical infrastructure projects across the state for the next 10 years, without raising taxes.

The passage of Hamilton County Issue 3 renews the Developmental Disabilities Levy to provide critical services to residents with complex medical and social needs without increasing taxes. The services provided help individuals with disabilities learn vital skills that lead to good jobs and better lives. These victories are important to our community and we thank you for supporting both ballot issues.
