Awards set to reveal area’s best small businesses
The businesses that are finalists for Thursday’s Small Business Excellence Awards are as distinctive as they are successful. All 35 of them are successful, but after Thursday, only seven regional small businesses will be able to say they are Small Business Excellence Award winners. Those 35 have already been chosen as finalists for the awards being sponsored by the Chamber.
The Awards luncheon honors the job creators, problem solvers and service providers in Greater Cincinnati. It’s being held at the Millennium Hotel Cincinnati, 150 West Fifth Street, downtown Cincinnati from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The keynote speaker of the luncheon is Clay Mathile, former CEO of the Iams Company.
Three awards will be given to small businesses of the year, two will go to regional non-profits, another award will be given for emerging business of the year and the last will be for community involvement.
The finalists range from dance studios, to collision centers to health care, and all business types in between.
