Boehner visits Chamber ambassador during trip home
John Boehner, speaker of the House, visited Chamber member Innovative Labeling Solutions on April 25, 2011. The Speaker of the House returned to his home turf to get feedback on how to create more jobs. He toured companies in his district, including ILS, to meet their leadership team and tour their state-of-the-art facility.
The visit was subsequent to a Ribbon Cutting event that ILS held in conjunction with the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber in February 2011.
“We had invited John to attend that event to celebrate our job growth and revenue growth, as well as our investment in technology that would solidify our position as a leader in the marketplace,” said Kathy Popovich, Director of Marketing & Communications at Innovative Labeling Solutions. “John was unable to attend, but he sent a field representative and she was so impressed that she indicated they would schedule John for a visit this Spring.”
Innovative Labeling Solutions is a digital packaging specialist providing printing services for the consumer product goods marketplace. It began as a narrow web flexographic label converting business and is now a comprehensive label and packaging operation manufacturing out of a 65,000-square-foot facility.
ILS is Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber 2011 Small Business Excellence Award finalist and Chamber Ambassador.
