    PHOTO GALLERY: region's top businesses honored at Cincinnati Business Awards

    Cincinnati’s business community celebrated this year’s Cincinnati USA Business Award winners on May 13th at the Sharonville Convention Center. Presenting sponsor, PNC Bank, excellence sponsors, Flynn & Company, Humana, Time Warner Business Class, Zone CG and media sponsors, the Business Courier and ZoneCG, hosted the luncheon ceremony with the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. 

    Zach Green CUBA AwardsKeynote speaker, Zach Green, Founder and President of MN8 Foxfire, shared the incredible story of how he went from being a firefighter with a big idea to selling products from the trunk of his car, to growing his business to 15 employees and offering products to businesses and firefighters in 25 countries around the world. In 2011, MN8 Foxfire was runner-up in the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s Small Business Emerging Business of the Year category. 

    This year's Cincinnati USA Business Awards saw over 400 in attendance to recognize the 45 businesses named as finalists in eight awards categories. Companies who were named as finalists have 250 or less employees and have exhibited outstanding performance, as well as social and economic contributions to our region. The Cincinnati USA Business Awards finalists represent a small percentage of the 50,000 outstanding small businesses in our area. 

    This year's Cincinnati USA Business Award winners include:

    Business of the Year (16-75 employees)
    Winner: A Caring Choice
    Runner-Up: The Business Backer

    Business of the Year (76-250 employees)
    Winner: HORAN
    Runner-Up: BioRx LLC

    Fast Track Business of the Year
    Winner: Solica Construction
    Runner-Up: Advanced Technology Consultants

    Best New Product of the Year
    Winner: MAX Technical Training
    Runner-Up: Strategic HR, Inc.

    Nonprofit of the Year
    Winner: Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra
    Runner-Up: Easter Seals Tristate

    Community Involvement Award
    Winner: Pep
