Window’s closing – but don’t jump!
During Open Enrollment, employers can review how well their current MCO provider has helped them manage their medical claims and, if an employer is not satisfied by some key indicators, like timeliness of service, return-to-work rates and quality of medical management, the employer can switch. It’s about the only time MCOs can be shopped – and it only occurs every two years.
The Chamber has endorsed Sheakley UniComp as their preferred MCO for Workers’ Comp. Out of the largest four MCOs, Sheakley has the highest return to work performance score (per BWC MoD scores 4.10.14), the most important element of managed care. Their unique approach turns industry data into personalized managed care solutions, giving our members the expertise, service, and support they need to get injured workers back to work quickly and safely.
If you are currently with Sheakley UniComp, you need to do nothing – your company will automatically remain with Sheakley UniComp. However, if you are not currently a Sheakley UniComp client, your company now has this limited time opportunity to select Sheakley as your MCO. Go to Sheakley
