Experience Party in the Park from the skies with new ZIPLINE

After a successful first week of the 2012 Party in the Park season, a new element of high-flying adventure is being introduced this week. For the first time in the history of Party in the Park, a zipline will be available to guests.

The zipline will run from the east concession stand (near the Purple People Bridge) to roughly the center of the lawn at Yeatman’s Cove. The zipline is 320 high and 26 feet high. The cost for a Party in the Park guest is $10.

It’s not just a quicker route to the beer trucks, it’s an exciting way to add some much needed mid-week adventure to your usual happy hour routine!

Tomorrow’s Party will feature music from CORE and, for the first time, wine and cocktails will be on hand as well. Happy hour (and a half) is from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Pizza Bomba food truck will have a variety of pies on hand. Admission is free.
