MBA member Grayson represents Chamber
It’s not every year that an organization celebrates a significant anniversary, and its equally unique when a firm is able to post five-year growth rates of 170%.
Meet Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. (ESS) president & ceo Lonnie Grayson, who got into the act this year to help celebrate the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s 175th anniversary. Grayson, a Chamber and MBA member specializing in OSHA and EPA compliance for public and private companies throughout the U.S., was interviewed by WLW700-AM’s Jim Scott about his business and the benefits of partnerships.
Founded in May 2002, ESS provides regulatory and chemical handling compliance; documentation and certification management; and engineering and construction services. With 14 full-time staffers and 40 contractors across the country, ESS serves as a solution provider – and an additional pair of eyes – for companies large and small, including Duke, Turner, Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Duro Bag, General Electric, Cincinnati Metropolitan Sewer District and more.
“We’re seeing an uptick in manufacturing,” offers Grayson, “and we think manufacturing and manufacturing-related services in this region will continue to increase. That’s good news, and we’re looking at some great years ahead.”
“We partner with the Chamber – they’ve been a valuable addition to my business. The MBA serves as a business coach. They helped drive the development of our strategic plan, introduce us to potential customers – and provide expert advice that I can get anytime of the business day, or weekend. That’s partnership.”
