Meet the inaugural YP Cincy Next class

    Cincy Next

Cincy Next, the newest offering in the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s recently expanded suite of leadership programming, has announced its first class. Last week, 35 young professionals kicked off the 8-month program at a reception.

Cincy Next is designed for early career professionals (approximate ages 22-30) with eight years or less of professional work experience. The members of this inaugural class come from a wide variety of backgrounds, occupations and local employers.

“The response to this new program was stronger than expected, and that competition is exciting for me to see,” said Julie Bernzott, manager of HYPE Programs for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. “We are very pleased with the quality of the participants too, especially given this is the inaugural class,” she added.

Announced in February, the addition of Cincy Next was driven by increased demand from the region’s businesses and non-profits. It joins the already established leadership brands of Leadership Cincinnati, C-Change, WE Lead and WE Succeed as well as additional new program Leadership Action.

Cincy Next, like C-Change, is part of the Chamber’s HYPE (Harnessing Young Professional Energy) programs. Curriculum topics will include: personal branding, effective communication, public speaking, difficult conversations/conflict, goal-setting, generational workforce issues, personal finance, and introduction to networking.
