    SBEA finalists meet & greet

    SBEA 2013Before they take to the stage to be awarded later this month, some of our area's top small businesses took a few hours to celebrate their accomplishments.

    From financial consulting to the performing arts to health care to collision repair, this year's Small Business Excellence Awards finalists are as diverse as they are successful. Leaders from the 35 finalist companies gathered last Tuesday night at the Chamber for a reception held in their honor.

    Small Business Awards ReceptionThe event was a build up to the SBEA Awards Luncheon at the Millennium Hotel in downtown Cincinnati on Thursday, May 16 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event will feature Clay Mathile as a keynote speaker. Mathile is the former CEO and owner of The Iams Company and will present "Run Your Business, Don't Let It Run You." View registration information

    SBEA ReceptionThe reception included remarks by Zachary Green. Green's Wyoming, Ohio business MN8-Foxfire Products, produces firefighter safety equipment. Earlier this month, his business was chosen as the winner of the Ohio Chamber's Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award. He is a former SBEA finalist.
