Jill MeyerThe economy in our region is diverse and resilient, according to experts at 2016 Economic Outlook hosted by the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati USA Regional chambers. Wages should grow over the next five years and 35,000 new jobs are expected in our area (more than half of those in healthcare). As Julie Heath, Director of the University of Cincinnati’s Economics Center said, "In terms of the new normal, for Cincinnati, it looks pretty darn good."

Also looking good is Pete Strange, Chair Emeritus of Messer Construction and former Chamber chair and interim CEO. Tomorrow, he receives the Carl H. Lindner Award for Entrepreneurial & Civic Spirit at the Deloitte Cincinnati USA 100 (see story below). We're proud to know you, Pete. Thanks for your leadership.
