Fountain Square readies for holiday season
One of the most telling signs of the coming holiday season
is the activity on Fountain Square in November. The Macy’s Holiday Tree arrives
on the southwest corner and gets lifted into place, awaiting its glorious
lighting celebration the night after Thanksgiving. The Genius of Water ebbs her
flow and a wrought iron gate gets placed around her precious infrastructure.
And the construction of the U.S. Bank Ice Rink begins on the southern half of
the square, signaling the start of a 13-week season of skating fun.
The U.S. Bank Ice Rink sees 50,000 skaters through the
winter season, including special weekends with Santa, Radio Stations, Guest DJs,
Broomball leagues and more. There are a
number of ways for your organization to be a part of the fun on Fountain Square
this holiday season. Book the rink for an event by calling (513) 381-0782.
Promote your business on an ice rink panel and get 4 months of FREE recognition
on the Fifth Third Bank Video Board by calling (513) 621-4400, ext. 124. Or view a complete list of winter events on Fountain Square.
