County Commissioner candidates face off at the Chamber

Last week, the Chamber hosted a debate between Dennis Deters, Denise Driehaus, Andrew Pappas, and Todd Portune, the four candidates vying for a seat as Hamilton County Commissioner. The debate was co-hosted with the Cincinnati Enquirer and sponsored by Duke Energy and Sheakley.

All four candidates participated in a private reception, sponsored by Government Strategies Group, with Chamber members and in a debate noted for its civility and respect. The reception provided the opportunity for Chamber members to network with the candidates and campaign staff. Aside from distinguishing themselves, the candidates were asked about key issues for the business community – MSD, shared services, transit and transportation funding, and poverty. If you missed the debate, you can watch the live stream here.
