Chamber members, along with AMEND Consulting and TechSolve, just returned from the 2016 Manufacturing Exchange trip to Nashville, Tennessee (see photos
). Visits were made with top manufacturers and educational institutions like Bridgestone North American Manufacturing, Middle Tennessee State University, and Schwan Cosmetics.
Due to baby boomer retirements, it’s estimated that 18,000 advanced manufacturing jobs will be available, in our region, before 2025. The sharing of best practices is critical as we grow Cincinnati’s regional talent base and strengthen the workforce pipeline between schools and businesses.
Last week also saw our YP Cincy Chat with GE’s Joe Allen and Dan McCarthy of the Banks (photos

). Both designed to attract, develop and connect diverse talent for the Cincinnati region.
