Mary Stagaman 200 x 221Mary Stagaman, Vice President of Regional Initiatives and Executive Director of Agenda 360 for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, was an invited speaker at the Talent Attraction Symposium, October 19, produced by the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Corporations, small businesses, employment agencies, governmental workforce initiatives and more converged in Toledo to learn from national experts and companies throughout the region. They left with a better understanding of the needs in Ohio, national trends and best practices in talent attraction and retention.

“We were having some difficulty finding a local speaker on building a diversity and inclusion plan for attracting talent,” said Jeff Schaaf,, Brand Manager, Toledo Region. He reached out to Ms. Stagaman because her team has, “an extensive background on this topic.”

“A diverse workforce and inclusive workplace are critical to success,” said Ms. Stagaman. "In Ohio and nationally, we know that companies that embrace inclusion see better performance and stronger bottom lines.”
