The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s Agenda 360, Skyward in Northern Kentucky and the Cincinnati chapter of the Urban Land Institute invite you to The Connected Region: Transit’s Role in Economic Development.

The agenda for the morning includes:

    • Release of a transit-focused Regional Indicators Report that uses data to benchmark the Greater Cincinnati region against 11 peer regions.
    • Panel of local leaders discussing the role of transit in economic development and community vitality.
    • Keynote from Gabe Klein, a national thought leader on transit. Listen to his recent interview on The Diane Rehm Show, NPR.

Gabe Klein formerly led city transportation departments in Chicago and Washington, DC and was a senior visiting fellow at the Urban Land Institute. Earlier in his career, Klein was vice president of Zipcar, the world’s largest car-sharing company. His book Start-Up City will be released in October 2015 and discusses how to affect big, directional change in cities, with a specific focus on transportation.
