Chamber, partners announce two day music festival next month
The Riverfront Transit Center underneath Cincinnati’s Second Street will soon be the home of a two-day music festival featuring several A-list acts.
A hidden gem located underneath Cincinnati’s streets is set to sparkle next month during the recently announced Ubahn music festival. The Chamber, with partners AGAR and Self Diploma, have announced the electronic dance and hip hop festival for November 15 and 16 at the Riverfront Transit Center.
Both single day and two-day passes are now on sale on the festival’s website at ubahnfest.com, with acts A-TRAK and Mike Posner headlining the event.
The name of the event pays homage to the rich German heritage of Cincinnati. The German word "U-bahn" translates as an underground rapid transit or metro.
“Cincinnati has never seen anything like this. The venue will be the perfect home for this new event. When you combine that with two stages featuring seven hours of music each night, and some of the top names of those genres, we are anticipating a huge demand for both days,” said Pat Sheeran, Vice-President of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.
