Diverse + Professional + Networking = MashUp Cincinnati
BlackbookEMG and HYPE have teamed together to produce an exciting and one-of-a-kind professional networking event Oct. 21. MashUp Cincinnati will introduce the latest technology in electronic networking, the Poken™. This device, small enough to fit on a keychain, allows users to “poke” each other and share contact information and access to an individual’s social networks online. Just plug your Poken into your computer, and your contacts are populated and connections are strengthened across multiple platforms.
Coinciding with HYPE’s Talent Symposium on Oct. 19, MashUp Cincinnati will bring together approximately 200 of Cincinnati USA’s young professionals from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities. Below Zero is the perfect venue for this event, and the lineup will surprise even the most discerning guest.
Entertainment includes one of the region’s premier mashup DJs, a salsa dancing class, a hip-hop performance, and other surprises that represent the different lifestyles we are bringing together for this inaugural event. In addition, four community and business role-models are attending to greet guests and be “poked” for future networking opportunities.
The success of MashUp Cincinnati sets a new benchmark in Cincinnati for the value of networking across corporate and community divides. We know there is a huge demand by young professionals of varied backgrounds to engage with each other and strengthen bonds. This initiative is designed to help retain top talent and demonstrate the diversity of the region. Plan to attend this new event by registering at www.mashupcininnati.com
