Last call for C-Change applications
C-Change, the young-professional leadership-development program managed by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and its young professional initiative, HYPE, is now accepting applications for its eighth class. Applications will be accepted through Sept. 21 and are available at www.cincinnatichamber.com/cchange.
The C-Change curriculum combines personal leadership development with community engagement for a program that enhances current leadership roles and prepares participants for future ones, both professionally and personally. From January through December, the program provides emerging leaders with the opportunity to expand their leadership, career and life skills, while connecting with established leaders and community resources. Participants can expect sessions to be fun, interactive and challenging. In addition, the program offers an opportunity to connect with a talented roster of other your professionals in the community.
Participants also engage in leading a community-oriented project. This year, projects ranged from a children's book to See Cincinnati, a website designed to capture our region's story in an ongoing treasure-hunt format. In a survey of C-Change graduates, participants reported being more satisfied with their career choice, more successful at networking and having a strengthened perception of leadership being achieved through actions. In addition, they felt a greater sense of connection with the community.
C-Change is a component of HYPE, or Harnessing Young Professional Energy, the Chamber-led initiative to attract, develop and engage young talent in Cincinnati USA. C-Change, produced by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, is a year-long leadership-development program for emerging leaders in the Cincinnati USA region.
