New coach leads WE Succeed

Gick, LisaAs the new class of WE Succeed prepares to kick off in October, they will do so under the guidance of a new coach. Lisa Gick, Founder & CEO of curious – a Leadership and Change agency - will lead the program beginning with the fall 2016 class. Gick brings 25 years of corporate experience to the role, most recently as Vice President of Employee Engagement for Macy’s Inc. Lisa’s current coaching work focuses on refining leadership influence and impact with a focus on targeted opportunities.

“Lisa’s corporate background, coupled with her expertise around leadership, organizational agility, and the need for new perspectives around learning and leading in the workplace, make her the perfect coach for WE Succeed, especially since the majority of WE Succeed participants come from the corporate world. Lisa truly understands their needs and aspirations,” said Tamara Lang, Manager, Women Excel.

Prior to Gick, WE Succeed was led by Susan McCord of McCord Coaching. “Susan has been a wonderful coach for the past 3 years. We are so grateful she was willing to take time away from her busy practice to lead this program. We are going to miss her,” said Lang. McCord is stepping down to focus on a new women’s coaching program focused on mindfulness and tapping the power of the mind-body-life purpose connection.

WE Succeed is an intensive three-month executive coaching experience designed to help high potential business professionals develop exceptional leadership skills to advance their company and career. Limited to 6 women per session, participants are able to confidentially share knowledge, set goals, and take action to develop the leadership skills necessary for success.
