From the desk of Jill Meyer
I’ve been on the job only two weeks and already unemployment in our region is as low as it’s been since 2001 and the Cincinnati metro is the fastest growing major city, in terms of economic growth, in the Midwest. I’m kidding, of course, about my role in those accomplishments. It has taken many years and much work to reach those milestones – and there’s still tremendous work to be done. But I’m happy to celebrate the progress.
Speaking of progress, last week, the Chamber and 20 local businesses visited Minneapolis-St. Paul to share ideas on economic and workforce growth with manufacturers like 3M and Boston Scientific. We’re also working at home, through programs like Cincinnati Intern Network Connection
, Diverse by Design
and Harnessing Young Professional Energy
, to attract and retain the talent your business needs for continued growth.
