Member Spotlight: BSI Engineering Inc.
Chamber member BSI Engineering is a consulting and design engineering firm that stands out. Founded in 2007, BSI stands for “Bryan Speicher Inspired,” in honor of the memory of a lost friend whose vision inspired the company’s key principles. BSI describes itself as “a place where some of the best design and consulting engineers in the business can come together…to work in an extremely satisfying environment.” The company has experienced phenomenal growth over its first four years, and was recently honored with the Chamber’s Business of Excellence Award in the Small Business Excellence Awards. In 2009, 2010 and 2011, BSI was recognized by the Business Courier as part of the Fast 55 (the 55 fastest growing businesses in the Greater Cincinnati area), and next month BSI will be recognized as a member of the INC 500/5000, which is considered the “gold standard of entrepreneurial success.” Daniel T. Prickel, Principal and CFO of the company, cites recognition from peers, customers and vendors as a key benefit of receiving the Business Excellence Award. He also notes what he sees as a main value of Chamber membership: “being aligned with the general business community for the protection of business and free enterprise.” BSI Engineering shows no signs of slowing, but will continue to grow as it embraces its chief goals of inspiration and leadership.
