Adopt-A-Week at Hoxworth Blood Center’s Neighborhood Donor Center this February

HoxworthWhen bad weather hits, blood donations decline. With your leadership, we can overcome potentially bad weather and the loss in blood donations that often result. Small businesses that do not have blood drives, but are near a Neighborhood Donor Center, can make a difference by having their own “blood drive” at one of our Neighborhood Donor Centers during a week in February.

Each day, Hoxworth needs 350 volunteer blood donors and 40 platelet donors to serve patients at 31-area hospitals. We are asking you to support your community in a unique and satisfying way.

    Can we count on you?

Will you encourage — and allow — your employees to donate blood at a Neighborhood Donor Center during the week you choose in February? To adopt your week, please contact Laney Harlow: 513-558-1409 or laney.harlow@uc.edu.

Small businesses make up so much of the community, but sadly, make up a small percentage of blood donations. We can change this starting now! Who Will You Save?
