Gold member changes name, image
Telestar Media, a Cincinnati based local marketing provider and Gold Chamber member changed their brand name to E3 Local on March 9. The change is designed to improve the company's position with key prospects and developing brand partners. Telestar's core product is local marketing solutions and support for advertisers with immediate needs in multiple markets, very often franchise businesses and corporate marketing teams. Telestar's current advertiser base includes Steak N Shake, Champion Window, Escort, Roto Rooter, Donatos Pizza and Escalade Sports.
Kevin Slattery, who founded Telestar in 1995 and serves as CEO is excited about the change and proud of what this step forward represents. "This is a natural progression for our company and one we are excited about. Our new identity more clearly communicates who we are and what makes us different in the hyper competitive local marketing space". Slattery continued, "we have worked very hard to evolve with the changing needs of our customer base. We are not the same company we were 15 years ago and we shouldn't be. E3 Local represents our successful transition to a multi channel local marketing solutions provider."
Telestar has used it's progressive approach to local marketing to grow annual revenue more than three-hundred percent in the last ten years. Once considered a local print agency, Telestar now serves a national customer base and has expanded product mix into broadcast, digital and local solutions. "Our product expansion is not unique...times have changed" said Kerry McKiernan, Telestar President, "what is unique is we remain committed to serving the needs of advertisers at a local level while growing product mix to meet the needs of a new marketing world."
Telestar's Local Store Markeing Essentials package will be a primary focus for the organization as the brand transitions into E3 Local. The LSM essentials are uniquely designed solutions, web based tools and apps to serve the specific needs of local markets. The essentials suite, particularly the "Local Marketing Request" tool and "Loyalty" platforms are the fastest growing products in the Telestar offering.
E3 Local will keep Telestar's core values and operating principles, promising to serve the interests of the advertiser ahead of everything else. E3 will also continue to offer the same added values in contractual freedom and planning and production support that Telestar advertisers have grown accustomed to. McKiernan concluded, "our heart hasn't changed and neither has our accountability to improving sales, profit and productivity. We just got some cool new uniforms for our team."
