WE Lead prepared, positions and empowers women
WE Lead is the Chamber's 10-month leadership development program designed to empower talented women in mid-to-upper level management positions, business owners, and top leaders to explore and further develop their leadership skills in order advance their career and organization. Through a combination of professional development and coaching, WE Lead provides women with the leadership tools and strategies necessary to achieve exceptional success.
The curriculum allows participants to discover and understand their strengths and communication styles, and learn the leadership skills and strategies necessary to become extraordinary leaders within their organization and the community.
"My life and leadership style always have been driven by the philosophies of servant leadership; yet the dynamic power of WE Lead refueled, transformed and deepened those skills which have resulted in success in my career and personal life. As a relatively new member of the region, I found that WE Lead reignited my professional and personal passions while allowing m e to forge new relationships and build strong networks with extraordinarily talented women."- Lynnette M. Heard, M.Ed., University of Cincinnati Foundation, WE Lead Class 7
WE Lead runs for 10-months beginning with a kickoff reception in September and concludes with a graduation ceremony in June. There is a two-day overnight retreat held at Deer Creek State Park in late September. The rest of the year consists of five full day sessions meeting once a month at various locations throughout the Cincinnati region.
